Achraf Hakimi became the first Ligue 1 player since Neymar to record five goal contributions in a single match during a 5-1 win against Le Havre.
Paris Saint-Germain defeated bottom-placed Le Havre 5-1 on Friday, fueled by three goals and two assists from right back Achraf Hakimi. The Morocco international, who had not scored this season prior to kickoff, played a direct role in every PSG goal. The victory marked Luis Enrique’s 127th win, surpassing Laurent Blanc to become the winningest coach in the history of the club.
Le Havre took an early lead in the 18th minute through Josh Maja, but Hakimi initiated the comeback by assisting Mika Godts for the equalizer. Hakimi then gave the visitors the lead two minutes later with a smart finish before adding a third goal via a 20-yard free kick early in the second half. He completed his first career hat trick in his 486th professional game with a 69th-minute strike, shortly after providing the through ball for Senny Mayulu to score the team's fourth.
According to ESPN Research, Hakimi is only the fourth player in the last four seasons across Europe’s top five leagues to register five goal contributions in one game. The result represents PSG's ninth consecutive win in all competitions and their sixth straight league victory. Luis Enrique made five changes to his lineup for the match as Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia remained sidelined due to injury.
