Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane has committed to Bayern Munich through 2029 after scoring 156 goals in 161 appearances for the club.

Harry Kane has signed a new contract to remain at Bayern Munich until 2029, ESPN reports. The 33-year-old England captain was in the final season of the original four-year deal he signed upon arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023. The extension follows a period where Kane secured the 2026 Ballon d'Or, becoming the first Englishman to win the award in 25 years after a 73-goal campaign.

Since joining the German side, Kane has recorded 156 goals in 161 appearances across all competitions. He reached the 100-goal mark in the Bundesliga in a record 98 games. During his tenure under manager Vincent Kompany and his predecessors, the striker ended a career trophy drought by winning the Bundesliga in 2025 and 2026, alongside a German Cup title last season.

In the current campaign, Kane has scored 12 goals for the club. On the international stage, the forward recently earned his 125th cap against Czechia, equaling Peter Shilton’s all-time England appearance record. He remains his country's leading scorer with 91 goals. Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen confirmed the agreement, noting Kane's role as a leader within the squad as they plan for future seasons.
