Hull City Extend Unbeaten Run Following 2-2 Draw at Chelsea

Hull City remained undefeated in the Premier League after Mohamed Belloumi scored a first-half brace during a 2-2 draw at Chelsea.

Hull City maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season following a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Morgan Rogers opened the scoring for the hosts in the seventh minute, drilling a shot past the near post after receiving a pass from João Pedro. This marked the first league goal Hull had conceded in four matches this season.

Mohamed Belloumi overturned the deficit with two goals in a six-minute span. His first was a low finish that beat Jorell Hato following an awkward bounce, followed by a deflected strike from the edge of the penalty area that left goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez stranded. Chelsea equalized in the second half when João Pedro scored from a Cole Palmer cutback that bypassed two defenders.

The second half featured several near misses, including a Reece James free-kick that struck the post. Martínez denied Oli McBurnie on a rebound after initially spilling a Regan Slater shot, and later blocked a point-blank attempt from substitute Mohamed-Ali Cho. Hull goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis also smothered an effort from Rogers following a pass by Palmer. The result means Chelsea, now under manager Xabi Alonso, have failed to win any of their last five home fixtures against newly-promoted top-flight sides.
