The 24-year-old right-hander has thrown 1,053 fastballs clocked at 100 mph or faster this year, surpassing the next closest pitcher by 582 pitches. He joins Jordan Hicks, Aroldis Chapman, and Mason Miller as the only pitchers to record at least 500 triple-digit pitches in a single season since 2008.

On June 26, Misiorowski threw a 105.5 mph fastball to Chicago Cubs hitter Pete Crow-Armstrong, marking the fastest pitch recorded in MLB this season and the highest velocity ever reached by a starting pitcher. His improved command has seen his walk rate drop from 11.4% to 6.6% compared to previous performance.

Misiorowski's statistical peak occurred on June 12 against the Philadelphia Phillies, where he threw a 94-pitch complete-game shutout. In that 6-0 victory, he allowed only one hit while striking out 15 batters. The Brewers have already secured a division title and are positioned for a potential No. 1 seed in the upcoming postseason as Misiorowski awaits the National League Cy Young Award results in November.
