Matthew Stafford, Davante Adams Lead Rams to 28-6 Victory Over Giants

Davante Adams caught eight passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns as the Los Angeles Rams defeated the New York Giants 28-6 on Monday night.

Wide receiver Davante Adams led all players with eight catches for 195 yards and two scores, marking his 29th career game with multiple receiving touchdowns. Second-year tight end Terrance Ferguson added six receptions for 54 yards and one touchdown.

New York's offense struggled after starting quarterback Jaxson Dart exited on the opening drive due to a left knee injury. Backup Jameis Winston finished with 111 passing yards and threw a red-zone interception as the Giants were limited to 182 total yards of offense. The Rams' defense recorded 10 pressures on 18 first-half dropbacks and held the Giants to 52 rushing yards, a significant drop from the 165 yards New York produced in Week 1. Safety Tyler Nubin allowed seven catches for 143 yards and a touchdown as the nearest defender.

Defensive tackle Aaron Donald played 32 snaps in his first game in 981 days, recording three tackles and one run stuff. While wide receiver Malik Nabers returned to the game following a first-half shoulder injury, the Giants saw left tackle Andrew Thomas and outside linebacker Brian Burns leave the game with injuries in the fourth quarter. The Rams played without wide receiver Puka Nacua, who was inactive for the contest.
