Tristan H. Cockcroft of ESPN reports that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy enters Week 3 leading the league in Total QBR (95.7) and completion percentage (80.4%). Purdy, who has recorded zero off-target throws through two games, is one of five quarterbacks to score at least 20 fantasy points in each of the first two weeks alongside Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Shough, and Bryce Young. He faces an Arizona Cardinals defense that allowed 21.40 fantasy points to Drew Lock in Week 2 and ranks ninth-worst in points allowed per passing attempt.

In the backfield, Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins sees a value increase against a Carolina Panthers defense surrendering 1.07 fantasy points per carry. This rate leads the league, as the next-closest defense allows 0.85. Conversely, Tampa Bay Buccaneers runner Bucky Irving faces a Minnesota Vikings unit that surrendered just 0.34 fantasy points per carry through two weeks, the third-lowest mark in the NFL. The Vikings defense was the second-toughest schedule-adjusted matchup for running backs during the 2025 season.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is cited as a matchup to avoid against the Denver Broncos. While Stafford posted 26.98 fantasy points in Week 2, he now faces a Denver defense that limited Trevor Lawrence to 6.16 points last week. At wide receiver, Ladd McConkey of the Los Angeles Chargers is highlighted against a Buffalo Bills defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to the position. McConkey currently maintains a 19% target share despite the Chargers starting the season with consecutive 26-14 losses.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews holds a 25.0% target share, the fourth-highest at his position, entering a game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys defense previously allowed 27.8 fantasy points to Isaiah Likely in Week 1. In contrast, Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland faces an unfavorable matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, who ranked as the second-toughest defense against tight ends last year and currently allow the fourth-fewest fantasy points per target.
