Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will fight on Dec. 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The heavyweight showdown, which will be broadcast on Netflix, features two fighters who bring a combined 66 wins, 52 knockouts, and multiple world titles into the ring. Saudi Arabian boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh confirmed the date and location on Thursday, noting that the event will be promoted by Ring Magazine in partnership with UFC president Dana White.

The selection of the 80,000-capacity venue follows prolonged negotiations regarding the location. While Netflix and Saudi promotional company Sela preferred a United States venue to accommodate global audiences, Joshua insisted on a United Kingdom location in his contract. The Principality Stadium was ultimately chosen for its fully retractable roof.

Both heavyweights signed individual deals with Alalshikh earlier this year and completed final tune-up bouts in July. The agreement ended recent uncertainty where Fury threatened to pursue a third fight against Oleksandr Usyk. This matchup marks the first time the two British heavyweights will meet after more than a decade of failed negotiations and verbal disputes.
