Swedish duo Maja Stark and Linn Grant secured a 3-and-2 victory over the previously undefeated American pairing of Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz, ending their record-setting five-match winning streak.

Europe earned additional points through rookies Mimi Rhodes and Nastasia Nadaud, who became the first rookie pair to win two matches in a single Solheim Cup. In the final match of the session, Leona Maguire and Esther Henseleit rallied to defeat Jennifer Kupcho and Rose Zhang 1 up on the 18th hole.

The United States claimed their lone point of the morning when Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin defeated Charley Hull and Lottie Woad 6 and 5. This result tied the record for the largest margin of victory in a Solheim Cup foursomes match. Despite the loss, European captain Anna Nordqvist retained Hull and Woad as a pair for the afternoon four-balls.
