Lottie Woad secured the decisive margin by holing a two-foot putt on the 17th hole for a 2-and-1 victory over Auston Kim. While Woad's win brought the official score to 14-10, Carlota Ciganda clinched the winning point approximately 10 minutes later after being assured of at least a half-point against Jennifer Kupcho.

The final day began with the teams tied at 8-8 following two days of play. Competing in heavy rain, Europe established an early lead through singles match wins by Charley Hull and Linn Grant. The United States attempted a late surge when Alison Lee overcame a 4-down deficit after 11 holes to defeat Esther Henseleit 1 up, marking the largest comeback in the history of the event.

This victory represents Europe's third win in the last five editions of the tournament, following a loss in Virginia two years ago. Ciganda, who provided the winning point on Sunday, also secured the point that allowed Europe to retain the trophy in 2023.
