Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase exited Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Jaguars after recording three catches for 27 yards.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase suffered a concussion during the team's 22-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, according to ESPN. The injury occurred at Paycor Stadium in the second quarter following a reception. Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones was penalized for dragging Chase down by his face mask, and the receiver sustained an additional hit while falling to the turf. Chase remained flat on his back for several seconds before exiting the field for the locker room.
Prior to his departure, the two-time All-Pro selection recorded three catches totaling 27 yards. This exit marks the first time Chase has missed game time due to injury since a shoulder issue sidelined him for a Week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023. The five-time Pro Bowler was officially ruled out for the remainder of the contest following the evaluation of his head injury.
